And after this

we still keep our conversation
shallow like we used to be
talk about what's on tv
and act like it never happened

like what you said had no real meaning
who said we were ever leaning
towards us?

IMG_0597.JPG

and the circumstance, it crushes me
we were swept by fire the entire week
but our love died so suddenly
but i'm still...

and you know... i'll be coming back for more

Livin' on a prayer

I walk outside and I see him. I come back an hour and a half later and he's still there. Random. Weird. Kinda cool. Weird again.

Clay is Gay: Aiken comes out of the closet
By Associated Press
September 23, 2008, 4:21 pm PDT

NEW YORK - Clay Aiken is finally confirming what many people already knew: He's gay. The cover of the latest People magazine shows Aiken holding his infant son, Parker Foster Aiken, with the headline: "Yes, I'm Gay." The cover also has the quote: "I cannot raise a child to lie or hide things."

i'm shocked, aren't you?

City By the Bay

Woke up around 5:45 Saturday morning and drove to the airport with my mom. Our flight left at 7:29 and we arrived in San Francisco around 9. We took the 35 minute BART ride to the city where we met up with Krystle. Then we walked over to the Marriot where we would be staying for the night. We met my Auntie Lara and Auntie Lana there and we just sat around for a little while. Then we walked to the ferry building where there is a farmer's market every Saturday. We bought some organic fruits, pastries, and I got a coconut drink. One of those coconuts that you stick a straw in and drink the "coconut water" out of. It was alright, looked cooler more than anything else. We also ate lunch at this restaurant called the Slanted Door (price rating: $$$). It was really good though, just expensive. Then we took the bus to Krystle's apartment. We walked around Clement street since it's in her neighborhood. We ordered some dim sum and "white sugar cake" for another snack. We also tried these egg snacks that are really popular in China or something. They are basically egg-shaped things made with crepe batter. Then we ate at Krystle's place and hung out. Then we got two salads from Burma Superstar, both were vegan friendly. Then we headed back to the hotel to chill before going to North Beach/Little Italy for dinner. While walking to the restaurant, there was a girl's backside that caught my eye. It turns out that the nice legs and buttocks belonged to a dude. Yeah I felt weird, shut up. Sunday was a very laid back day. Walked to a Starbucks for some coffee and then went to a restaurant called Sear's for breakfast. Then we just walked around the city, going into random stores and whatnot. My mom and I had a 7:20 flight back home and arrived back in the OC around 9. It was a nice little getaway to say the least.

Maroon 5

"I'll never leave you behind
or treat you unkind
I know you understand
and with a tear in my eye
you gave me the sweetest goodbye
that I ever did receive"

I asked her to stay, but she wouldn't listen.

15 minutes

ouch, it hurt really bad like excruciatingly bad
pissed, felt like crying and punching someone
disappointed, i couldn't believe you
sketchy, it looked really bad but I believe you now
scared, thought it was over and i was out for good
trust, you still have mine so i won't question
fine, now that the fifteen minutes have passed

nothing has been more painful than that. ever.

Monday, Monday

Most girls wish that they had your eyes
And boys secretly fantasize
But me, I am just mesmerized
By your every word and movement

You are as close as a girl can be
To ideal, somehow you disagree
The world sees perfection but all you see
Is room for more improvement

Silly girl, pretty girl
If you don't see
What a spell your sweet love has cast on me
Girl and I pray that never will this trance be broken

I melt, in your mouth when u talk to me
I wanna kiss you so slow and sweet
You are the book that i want to read
In braille cover to cover

Everything you do is like a movie scene
Every pose you strike is from some magazine
And I want to turn your pages

Silly girl, pretty girl
If you don't see
What a spell your sweet love has cast on me
Girl and I pray that never will this trance be broken

em, don't hate me for posting that

I believe...

that my life is gonna see
the love I give
return to me

You can hide behind your music
You can blend in with your friends
But you have to ask yourself
Who's gonna be there in the end
Will there be arms nearby to catch you
Every time you take a fall
Or when the traffic light just turns red
Who will stay when they all go

I can't say I'll hold on forever
But I'll give my all to try
Don't know if I will last four seasons
Because the fall's already dry
But winter's chill will numb my heart
And I'll be frozen 'til spring flowers bloom
But come next summer, I'll look and see
If life was worth living without you

But I believe
that my life is gonna see
the love I give
return to me, return to me

Un-pho-gettable Souplantation

I went to lunch today with some peeps named Candice, Tommy, Tim, Emily, and David Lee. We went to Pho 99 and it was a nice break from school to say the least. Pho is so pho-king good! Seriously though, pho is pho-nomenal. I could have pho every day pho-ever and ever. That's probably not true, but it's pretty good. Then once I got out of school I went to Souplantation with my dad and Danielle. Did they raise the prices again? $8.19 for lunch seems a little too pricey for my taste. I still think their ice cream bar is the most valuable. The caramel syrup and toffee bits make the vanilla ice cream magically turn into a gourmet dessert. I want to go to Disneyland this weekend. Does anyone want to go with me? Yeah, didn't think so. But the crickets I hear sound like they're down.

Sean Mayer

I was bored/inspired tonight so I decided to do something I don't usually do. Today is the start of a new month and a new week. I think it's something worth celebrating. What better way to celebrate than giving yourself a tattoo?
