I got pulled over

At 11:59pm on Thursday, May 21st.
I was pulled over by a police officer.
It was a male officer.
He was not going for my seductive eyelash fluttering.
No sir, not this officer, not tonight.
He wrote me a ticket.
It took him a while, but he wrote it.
He wrote me a fix-it-ticket.
He said I was cooperative.
He liked that.
I signaled left and drove down Culver.
I drove home.
Sweating in my Kobe jersey.
LAKERS blew it tonight!
WTF!?!?

I was able to catch the Mae show at Chain Reaction on May 6. It was a dos decision to go, luckily Em came with me. The opening bands PersonL and Barcelona were pretty impressive. Mae played for about an hour and a half. Their setlist was top notch. They reminded me why they're one of my favorite bands.
